Bathing in open water
Bathing, especially at sea, increases resistance to colds, stimulates blood circulation, cardiac muscle activity, improves metabolism, and has a beneficial effect on the nervous system.
But, in order not to harm yourself, it is best to start the swimming season at an air temperature not lower than 20 – 22 °, and water – 18 – 20 °.
